VCCW

(Visitation Council of Catholic Women)

Members volunteer for various positions within the five commissions and for various events fo the year, promote individual spiritual growth, participate in various causes: pro-life, Sharing and Caring Hands, and the Appalachian Project, foster social interaction among members, submit bulletin notices.

Responsibilities include paying yearly dues, participating in activities sponsored by the VCCW, attending four Deanery meetings yearly plus a State Convention, participating in luncheons, bazaar, pot luck supper, mother-daughter luncheon, evening retreat, Epiphany brunch, rummage sale, Valentine dinner dance and various other activities scheduled by the VCCW board, first Friday and third Friday coffee and first Sunday of the month coffee.

The ministry is open to both men and women of the parish. All Catholic women of the Parish are automatically members. Any other women with ties to Visitation may join activities.
